USA Cycling Professional Tour Standings: Feb. 23

Feb. 23, 2009 - Levi Leipheimer (Santa Rosa, Calif./Astana) won the inaugural event on the 2009 USA Cycling Professional Tour Calendar, the AMGEN Tour of California. Leipheimer locked up his third consecutive victory in the country's largest road race following the event's stage eight finish in Escondido on Sunday. With only the first of ten events on the USA Cycling Pro Tour complete, Leipheimer and his Kazakhstanian-based Astana squad take the early lead in the USA Cycling ProTour rankings. The latest version of the USA Cycling Professional Tour standings are as follows:
